Before you have even had time to recover from the vast amounts of turkey and pie it will be the holiday season’s most anticipated shopping day! This year instead of standing in lines to buy the same things you buy every year why not participate in this years Plaid Friday?! As explained on the Cultural Pittsfield blog;

“Plaid Friday originated in Oakland, California, and is designed to promote local and independently owned businesses during the holidays. One of the long term goals of Plaid Friday is to become a resource to make it easier for shoppers to find local businesses in every city across the nation. This year Pittsfield and Somerville in Massachusetts and other cities are joining the Plaid Friday movement”
